Sterile Feral Foundation was founded in 1999. Since that time, approximately 9000 cats have been neutered and spayed through our program and we continue to grow in activity annually. We are now the only local organization devoted solely to feline welfare through our TNR program, low-cost neuter/spay, and getting tame cats off the streets and into adoption programs or homes when needed. We are not affiliated with any state or national organizations and receive no federal or state funding. Money donated to our organization goes directly to help local cats. We now have 4 fund-raising events per year: April Spaghetti Supper, September Cat Show in Peoria, October Pork Supper and November Craft Sale at Normal Community West High School. 2 full-sized newsletters are published each year, giving an overview of our activities and cat interventions for the year.
